Scholarship is a lifestyle for Thetas. We are all privileged to have the opportunity to study here at the University of Maryland and take full advantage of the numerous opportunities that our university provides us. Our dedication to scholarship is clearly shown through our scholastic based achievements, including earning the highest Panhellenic sorority GPA, the Outstanding Academic Programming Award and the President's Cup for Most Outstanding Panhellenic Association Award.
Kappa Alpha Theta expects each member to achieve high scholarship and to develop to the fullest her intellectual, cultural, and social potential. Each chapter is required to set scholarship requirements which members must maintain in order to retain the social privileges of active membership.
All members have access to the scholarships that are allocated yearly by Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation. Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation is proud to have one of the largest scholarship endowment programs in the Greek community. This year alone, Theta Foundation awarded over $550,000 to outstanding undergraduate and graduate Thetas.
